Eagle Eye System

The Eagle Eye system is used to deter birds from a general area. This system pulses a red wavelength of light that is not visible to people but it is visible to birds. It actively deters birds that are in flight driving them away from the system. The reflective pyramid rotates by an electric motor or wind. The reflective hat sends beams of light around in a menacing pattern. This disorients and scares the birds in flight causing them to deviate their flight and land in another area. This system will help keep balconies, roof tops, and trees free of any bird activity. Birds will not want to land anywhere near the Eagle Eye system. The system will repel all species of birds such as pigeons, starlings, sparrows, and grackles. The system will have low visibility from the ground level of the building.

Installation

Eagle Eye systems comes in a number of configurations and can be powered several different ways. The system is available with both a 12 volt motorized option and a wind powered option. The 12 volt motorized option can be powered by either a transformer that plugs into a GFCI 110 volt outlet or a 12 volt DC power supply that is charged using solar panels. The solar panel option is great for roof tops and ledges where a 110 volt outlet is not available. The backup power supply allows the solar driven system to continue to operate in low light conditions and at dusk and dawn.

Eagle Eye systems often work the best in pairs or sets of three. This allows complete coverage of an area especially in respect to shadows cast from trees and buildings throughout the day. The systems can be mounted 150 – 300 feet apart from each other. This system works best in conjunction with another bird control system. Mechanical deterrents such as Bird Spikes, Bird Slope, or Bird Netting and chemical deterrents such as Fogging or PignX work great with Eagle Eye systems. This insures that if a pest bird is not deterred by the Eagle Eye due to shady conditions, the structure is still protected.

The Eagle Eye systems do require cleaning every three months. Nuisance Wildlife Rangers, LLC also inspects the systems during every cleaning to insure that everything is working properly and the solar panels and batteries are in good working order.
